How long has Iwan been a musician?
Since forever! Singing is his first love and he was in the musical, “Spring Awakening” before his acting career in “Misfits” took off. His 1st EP, “Tongue Tied” was released in 2010 and his follow-up, “Changing Times” was released in 2011. He says he’s constantly working on new music and is now concentrating on releasing a full-fledged album! Watch this space as he reveals more information about that! He put’s his acting career however and confirms music will forever be more of a hobby.
Where can I buy his music?
iTunes and Amazon. Both EPs are super-inexpensive and it’d be lovely if you purchased his music! Hopefully this encourages him to make more! Please do not ask for a free download link as we will not provide one, don’t be a scrooge!
Has he made any music videos?
He has; it is a lyrical video. The first one is for “Changing Times”, which you can see on his website or on Youtube. The next video will be for “Ar Dan” and it will also be a lyrical video.
What awards has Iwan won?
He won an Olivier for “Best Supporting Actor in a Musical” for “Spring Awakening” in 2010. He has neither won nor been nominated for a BAFTA yet, which is a travesty. With his undeniable talent, this will change soon…it better!
Does Iwan have a girlfriend?
Though this blog is not a place for speculation on his dating/personal life, it is widely assumed that he is single at the moment.

Is Iwan gay?
Again, please see above. However, the answer’s more than likely no. Iwan seems so open, if he were gay, he would have said so!
Why did Iwan leave “Misfits”?
No one knows if Iwan made the decision to leave “Misfits” or had no choice but to leave because his character’s arc had come to an end and he was written off the show. Neither Iwan nor people who work with the show have made any public statements to clarify the matter.
Does Iwan have any siblings?
Yes. One older brother named Aled who is also a musician. They’re thinking of working on a musical project together!
Does Iwan have any tour dates coming up?
Iwan mentioned in his AWAL radio interview that he is possibly playing The Lexington sometime in June. (http://www.thelexington.co.uk/listings) We’ll keep you updated on the exact date, ticket sales, and other tour dates as the information becomes available.
Have you met Iwan? Is he nice/what is he like up close/how does he smell?
Our blog’s illustrious founder has met him on several occasions! Every time, Iwan is friendly, hilarious, sweet, polite and a bit shy and awkward like his character, “Simon”! The consensus, from other people who have met him, is that he smells fresh and clean like spring…and cigarette smoke!
Is Iwan affiliated with this blog?
No, he is not. We can only hope that if he’s seen this blog, it brings a smile to his face! (Hi, Iwan, if you’re out there!)
What projects does Iwan have coming up?

He has also spoke about working on a play in London’s Westend this spring but we have no further details at the moment!

Does Iwan respond to his fans?
Yes, he does. Please keep in mind that he is busy and he may not get to everyone or respond in a timely manner, but he tries his best, bless him! I (Maura) can vouch for that, having received 2 personal responses from him, one of them entirely unexpected! He is an absolute sweetheart (and sometimes cheeky) when he responds to his fans.
If you do write to him, please don’t bombard him with several messages or get angry with him if he doesn’t answer you within 5 minutes! Again, he is a musician and an actor who has many things on his plate. He is also a young guy who likes to hang out with his mates and is entitled to free time like the rest of us! Please be respectful! :-)
